Plataforma Dignidad – A new campaign group in Latin America

In 2024, two lawyers and a lawyer who had helped people access assisted dying in Peru and Colombia joined forces to create a joint project that would work on the advances, alliances, and agendas in the region surrounding a dignified death. Today, Plataforma Dignidad is a Latin American interdisciplinary network which brings together more than 60 experts from eight Latin American countries, committed to advancing the right to die with dignity in the region. Because: “Decidir cómo y cuándo morir es un derecho humano.”1
