“Our Care, Our Choice” House Bill 2739 signed in the U.S. state of Hawaii

Success in the USA: Hawaii Governor David Ige signed the ‘Our Care, Our Choice’ House Bill 2739. Hawaii thus becomes the seventh U.S. state to allow residents to request and receive a prescription medication so as to die in a peaceful, humane, and dignified manner, under the condition that the person is suffering from a medically confirmed terminal illness with less than six months to live and possessing decisional capacity.
